March News & Updates

March certainly came in like a lion, with our biggest snowstorm yet arriving at the end of February, breaking records for all-time monthly snowfall. This past storm cycle had locals feeling stoked and revitalized, and set us up for a beautiful summer by restocking our snowpack. Now, we’re ready for warmer temperatures and spring skiing!
March is a spectacular time here in Sun Valley. All of us at SVA are looking forward to the magical weekend that the Sun Valley Film Festival, which is growing in notoriety every year, brings. This year, we will be welcoming Hollywood legends such as Meg Ryan, Aaron Paul, Fisher Stevens, and Alex Ross Perry. Films such as Long Shot, Apollo: Missions to the Moon, Her Smell, and The Mountain.
In other news, Sun Valley Resort has announced that it will be joining the industry-leading Epic Pass for the 2019/20 season. Our team is excited about this announcement and we can’t wait to introduce more guests to our unique traditions in Sun Valley. Wishing you a happy start to spring!
